I have just returned from a birdphotography trip to Sweden. The weather was dreadful and the birds were erratic. The last day i spent in the middle of nowhere near a simple feeder. The only birds that were attracted were the Crested tits.

Lovely colours, light and composition Rene!
Well done!
Nice clean and simple an excellent shot. Worth the effort I’m sure. Nice one

Sweet shot Rene - lovely bird, but myself I'm not so keen on the perch; though I do realise that things were, shall we say, not easy
Cracking bird, hope you've got some more nice ones - speak soon Boss

Not so keen on the perch? Sorry Andy but this is Crested tit habitat! They live in pine forests. Next time i will make sure i take the image on a piece of barbed wire!

Lovely shot, the perch is great and the background is lovely! Excellent composition, beautiful little bird!

My first thoughts were 'too bright' After looking at it for a second time... I don't think it is. It's well exposed, well framed and I do like the natural perch.

A smashing shot Rene. I remember these from a trip to the French Alps and they're amazingly quick darting around the conifers. You did well to get one in enough light - most of my shots were deep in forest gloom and too far off.

Great light which gives great detail, nicely done. I think where Andy (sorry if I have misinterpreted your comments Andy) is coming from in terms of the perch is not that it's the wrong habitat but simply not aesthetically pleasing as it is. I agree from that perspective, I also agree that it is the correct habitat.... interesting one.
Nice clear sharp image of these great little birds-perch works fine for me-very natural

Quality image Rene.

Very nice indeed! I think the perch is fine, but it would have been better balanced if the lower branch wasn't there. I doubt I would have noticed if I hadn't read the previous comments first! I certainly want to have a go at these in Scotland sometime.
