Sparring partners
These are great birds, just to watch as they spar with each other during courtship was a real treat. Jousting with their beak, bits of debris fly off in all directions, a wonderful spectacle. Shot in mid morning the real contender was not trying to blow the whites and retain some detail. I think I achieved most of that hopefully.

I find the foreground slightly distracting, but otherwise an excellent shot, nits more than acceptable.

Hi Steve

The OOF FG doesn't bother me in this image as you have captured the action!

Nice action shot. Given the circumstances you have done well to retain so much detail in the whites.

Very nice, great action shot, I like the composition. I like the OOF bit at the front, it really helps draw your eye to the action and the great colour of the beaks!

Nice action shot Steve, this is the first time I've seen this species of Booby, are they Nazca Boobies ?

Great action shot, really nice detail too. Aside from that (and this is probably a personal thing with anyone) the OOF FG is a little distracting where it is, if perhaps it were towards the middle it probably wouldn't be an issue.

Great action shot nonetheless !
