Hi all,

Since I can not grow money on trees yet I can not afford a long lens to replace my nikon 80-200 AF-S plus 1.7x teleconverter setup (which seems to produce really soft images by the way) can anyone suggest a decent rental service? I am looking to hire either a nikon 200-400 or 500mm prime lens for various weekend trips this year.

Any suggestions are welcome and obviously the cheaper the better. (Calumet so far is looking about £300 for a weekend including delivery which seems a bit steep)

Thanks in advance

Ben

Thanks both but it seems they do not hire any nikon gear above 300mm only for canon.

I didn`t spot that, but they say they are buying nes lenses all the time, it might be worth asking.

Try hireacamera.com I've recently looked at their site and they stock Canon, Nikon and pro Sigma kit.

definitely try hireacamera.com i've used them several times this year, and they have never let me down. they only have one outlet in sussex but deliver countrywide. they have been talking about gettting a 400mm 2.8 nikon in for a while now, but don't know if it's actually in yet.

all prices and availability are on their site.

regards,

mark.
