Kaln the (c) eagle owl (again)
Kaln had been sitting in the oak (above right) and I think this was the first wing flap on dropping down. The shot is full frame (tight) and rather twiggy (distracting).

It maybe a bit tight and a bit twiggy for some, but it works for me Tim, good job.

I guess I would probably be on the 'some' side, does seem a little twiggy but that doesn't hide the fact that it really is quite a good flight shot.

Great flight shot.
No problem with the twiggy and tight options.

I like the background personally. It gives some context to the shot. I think clean background can look quite sterile at times so it's nice to have an interesting background (when it works) such as this :toast:

Hi Tim,
Nicely caught! I missed everyone of these when Kaln dropped out the tree.

Tight and twigs don`t bother me also, thats how it was!

Nice eyes!

A really great shot, a tad high in the frame for me, due to the wing position, but I'm sure you were locked onto the head, and the wings were just going to be where they will.

Tight in the frame for me Tim but good enough.

I'm not sure why we are all so keen on sterile BGs. I quite like them as long as the subject is still the first thing that catches the eye and the Bg adds to the story.- as in this case.
A fine flight shot.

A well seen a caught flight shot! Yes, a bit twiggy, but it doesn't detract from the image as there is enough smooth background behind the owl to draw your attention to it. The surrounding twiggery adds context. Nice!
