Purchasing New Equipment? Here's a Recommendation.

I'm the proud owner of a new Canon 5D Mark II and a G10! Woohoo!
Fellow RMNP'er Adam Schallau is the manager of the camera department at Taos Mountain Electronics (TME) (in, you guessed it, Taos, NM!) where I purchased my new cameras. I just wanted to recommend TME if you are in the market for any new camera equipment. Adam was able to meet B&H/Adorama prices on most items and was able to cut me a sweet deal on some of the accessories. What really sold me though was the personal service. Adam was constantly checking in with his Canon rep and worked very hard to get me a 5D Mark II (which, currently, are not that easy to come by). He also emailed me often with status reports and kept me informed. So, if you would like good prices and service that can't be beat, I highly recommend TME!

I second this recommendation. I bought my 5D2 through Adam and received it at least a couple weeks before friends who ordered elsewhere. The service is excellent, too. A nice change from the typical attitude you get at Adorama and B&H!
