Hi,
After a change of plan for Saturday (loads of timber had washed up on the beach where I was originally going) Met up with Fran and Tony to try our luck at a site I had explored a couple of weeks earlier, plenty of birds but very flighty, despite try all we could it was looking like the three of us would be going home empty handed.
Then looking towards the horizon large flocks of birds were seen flying out and then back in to shore, so off we drove and came across what must be the largest high tide roost of waders I have witnessed in Kent, we stayed at the top of the beach and took advantage of the large numbers... needless to say we are planning further trips to try and get the images we have all been imagining since then...
All the best
Phil

So you spent all night stuffing shells for nowt - ahhhh lol..
Nice flock shot Phil - full of action
I'd have to take the buoy out though if it was my shot as the lumo-orange drags my eye - only my opinion though!

Very nice Phil, really like how there is even space throughout the flock.

nice one Phil, like it but also feel the buoy could go as it is in an opening with no birds.

Really nice, nice light too. I agree about the buoy.

There is a bird in there; 10 down 13 across that is saying, "Thank God he shifted that buoy, I thought I was going to hit it!"
Great flock shot Phil.

I dont mind the buoy
Due to popular demand here is one without the buoy....
I dunno, you try to get this nice shot of a buoy floating in the sea and this flock of birds flies in front
All the best
Phil
Must be a first for me adding a repost.....
Nice work!
Now you've taken the buoy out stick a bird in !!
Both work OK for me.

The buoys did prove to be a bit of a problem. Really looking forward to the next time!
Tony.

What really worries me, is that I can't decide which one you were focusing on ??
Oh, by the way you missed the otherone, same level but to the left, or is that an ORANGE dust spot ???
Seriously, a very nice shot, well seen and taken.
P.S. Hope you had a hat on, just incase they swung around and flew overhead.
Nice image in great light and I like the soft OOF coastal town on the other side of the bay which adds another dimension to the scene!
