Hello

T'was a good day for Barn Owl spotting. The overnight rain produced many on my travels today at midday.

I stopped for this one, as it was hunting close to my vehicle.

I added a vignette in LR (that's why the corners are dark).

ISO 500 | f/5.6 | 1/800sec

Regards

Nice to see one lower down and actually in mid "doing something"
Different from the norm. I like this. Maybe the 10 degrees rotation to the right has added a little impact I,m not sure.
Good one though.

I agree about the vignette simply as I would not expect the corners to be dark.

Sorry the vignette doesn't work for me either,:frown: also agree with John on the rotation and I think I would warm it up a tad.

As John said, good to see a different POV! :wavey:

I love the movement in the wings, and personally I like the vignette as well.

Love the action in this image and the vignette you have added channels your attention to the bird and fo me makes it more dramatic - I like it!

I think this image has more than enough impact without adding the vignette. Well caught.

looks like a digiscoped image with the vignette, nice shot of barny

Great shot of the barn Owl not keen on the dark corners. :toast:

Have to agree, lose the vignette.. It really is a good shot that will stand it's own ground without it.. Nice work on the bird.

Looks like I'll maybe loose the vignette if I ever re-process the image then!

Thanks all

its a nice shot, but the vignette does nothing for the image at all.
