Like the pose Graham, but not sure about the process, although viewing it on the laptop!

BTW Did you enjoy the haggis?

Lovely pose and comp. A wee tad 'hot' in the centre which can be easily brought back by a bit of highlights adjustment.

Nice shot Graham, I love the near vertical white line of feathers - the transparency is wonderful. Interesting pose too. The PP is cool - very punchy.

My first reaction was that it is a tad hot as per Toms comment but other than that it look good-different pose and nice and sharp-apart from the hot spot processing looks good although again i am viewing on my laptop

Hello Graham

Thats very nice love the pose and the colours, is it full frame? If not just crop it to off centre just enough to allow the bird space to look into, no big deal if it is not though.

The unnatural foreground aside, which is easily fixed, my first thoughts were what a cracking shot, pity it’s been over Photoshoped. Still a really nice capture tho'..

I like this. A drop in gamma works wonders. Try it !
What "photoshopping" means I don't know unless those reffering to it have shares in the company.
They don't own the image processing market- not by a long chalk..

Thanks everyone.

I'm still learning to 'Photoshop' and I realised that the middle was hot, but I just don't know enough to bring it back.

Danny - The image is ff - I have a couple of others in the series that I took which were sharper, but the bird is too right in the frame so I didn't process those.

Ray - I'm intrigued by your 'unnatural foreground' comment. The tide was coming in - not sure how I could have changed that to be honest

Thanks

Graham.
