Canon 40D, Sigma 300-800mm, F8, 1/125, ISO 200, Tripod.
One from last year at Bradgate.
Caught this buck catching the last bit of sun for the day. Which aloud for some lovely light on the buck. And the dark back ground was a bonus.
Thanks for looking.

This is nice, very nice, a truly excellent shot. Well seen, visualised and executed. No crit's.

Hi Guy
I think by the state of the antlers this is a "sorrell?" Anyway an interesting approach on a much snapped subject.

lovely lighting Guy and I like the 'peaceful' look of the deer. Very nice.

Nice capture Guy, good use of lighting and I guess he's got a few years to go before he's in his prime..
All the best,
Brett

I agree with the comments above. It's a pity the light hasn't caught it's antlers as well, that would have mad it perfect for me. Lovely portrait.
