From Monday with the Bitterns. Still getting used to the beauty of the vertical grip so this had to be straightened. The resulting image is the best crop I could manage.
You did well here, showing the Bittern nicely in its habitat. Nice enviro. shot of the Bittern.

A very good shot of this bird in its habitat. Nice comp & good sharp details.

Lovely habitat shot of this Bittern.
Would have liked it a tad higher in the frame but that's nitpicking..

A lovely shot of a difficult bird to do, main minor nit is the typical "Bittern watchpoint" cut reeds take the edge off the naturalness a little for me.

I'd be happy to have this - never seen one!

the bittern is lovely, always a shame about the cut reeds

A difficult bird to find, even more difficult to get a clear shot. Thank goodness the reeds had been cut back otherwise you'd not have a picture.
I'd guess you're rather chuffed and justifably so.

As said a shame about the cut reeds but as has also been said if they hadn't been cut back you probably would not have been able to get this great image... I might crop a little from the top but that is not a nit...

Going back tomorrow if the weather stays good.
Any pointers for where to improve would be great.
Chris
They are tough little buggers to see let alone get an image of!!
Happy hunting.
