Hiya Sam, I've looked at this a couple of times now but (although I like it and I can't find anything wrong with it) somehow I have to agree with JohnR that something doesn't quite feel right.

Do feel it looks a bit unatural and yes the whites have blown slightly. However if you turned this into a card and calmed down these highlights it would sell I am sure. Some of my customers would love it.

I can see what the others are saying and I think it would be improved if it weren't so tight in the frame. Look forward to seeing more.

Nice, I agree that it's a little tight in the frame and a bit bright. Looks like a good set up though!
Very reminiscent of Máté Bence of Hungary. Rather tight in the frame, particularly vertically, and unfortunately the light was rather harsh for you here.
What disturbs me the most tho’, is the moss, it separates the image in two, and the B.G. is featureless.
Well worked out and a good foundation to work from.

Hi Sam, I think this is great.

Whites are bright but not blown. The reflection is too good and clean which makes it a little unnatural looking. Superb colour and detail and good to see the 50d in use.

Very nice, and the reflection is supurb, i can understand what the others are saying, IE is doesnt look "natural" but then again it isnt, and i think it stands on its own as it is.
