Dewdrops
dewdrops on a blade of grass, focus stacked from 8 individual frames. Each frame taken at around 3:1 magnification with Canon MP-E 65 macro lens, f9, 1/160, ISO 100, diffused Speedlight on side bracket.

A larger version is available here.

All C+C welcomed.

Matt 'Macro' Cole,

Beautifully sharp and as ever, I'm always amazed at the reflections in the water.

I've often toyed with getting a macro lens for Spring's inevitable bloom and I'm sure you'll be putting the 65 to good use.

Great shot,

Chris

Excellent... I wonder what it would look like without the use of flash?

I love dew drop images

Great comp and detail.

Phil when using the MP-E 65 macro lens, you have to use a flash as it needs loads of light for the lens.If you didn't use a flash then everything will have to be rock steady and a really long shutter speed, which is not ideal really.
