Another from last weekend with Phil and Tony (thanks for your patience chaps) This is the first time I have managed to capture one of these, so I was pleased. Quite a large crop as we didn't seem to be able to get too close, even using the car as a hide.

Nice capture! I like the pastel colours, although it seems just a tiny bit too light to me. The detail is great on the bird. My only other nit would be that it needs a little bit taken off the left, or more to the right. Not too much to make the bird central, just to balance up a bit. Although the more I look, the more the composition grow on me!
Nice perch too!

Nicely composed, well balanced, fine detail where it matters. Can't ask for more.

That is indeed very good !
Just a teeny bit over to far to the right but no big deal
I love these thin perches which so suit the smaller passerines.
Very nice

Lovely image! I agree it's just a bit bright though.
A one legged Stonechat ?? I do hope it is just tucked up.
Rather tight to the right, easily solved with some sympathetic cropping, needs to be toned down, but otherwise an excellent capture, particularly as it is handheld.

Very nice Fran.... just a tad on the lightish side but not a huge problem... give them more time than we did and they do sometimes come relatively close, although they have cleared the ditches in what used to be the best place for them....

I love the colour palette and the pose of this one Fran. Well done.

Personally, I dont think this is too far to the right - it is bang on a third, and I like the overall composition. Nice one, Fran.

Thanks for your comments folks. After looking at this on another monitor over the weekend, I do agree about the brightness to a degree. Therefore I think a calibration is needed, which may get done this weekend.
