Hi all
Seen a lot of good pictures taken in Norfolk recently but no-one seems to have travelled into Buckenham to take advantage of the largest rookery in britain...80'000 rooks all coming into roost at once, come on, you can't miss out on that! The noise alone is worth going for!
An excellent shot, it works really well. nice one.

Never thought of that one Simom. Some great colouration in this one.

Interesting stuff Simon
I presume it was the intention to blurr the birds with the slow shutter speed ?
If not , then I wonder about say a lower f stop as they are a fair way off and a faster shutter?
Just a thought .

Your right, John, my intention was to show some movement in the birds hence the slow shutter speed - 1/15th just about caught what I was after. Having said that I was using the canon 100-400 lens and f5.6 is as fast as it'll go!

Superb colours in the sky on this one. I'm with john on the amount of blurring. It's a bit "in-between" - either a lot more blurred or sharp would work better.

Beautiful colours and an interesting subject. Very nicely done Simon. The blurring doesn't bother me really. Gives a bit of life to the shot. Eric

This is a small taster of what's on offer.
