After the Storm
After the worst ice storm in a decade we finally got some color this evening.

Hopefully others caught the ice spectacle as the sun came out this afternoon.

Nikon D3 two shot stitch.

Nice capture.

We only got a smidge of that ice storm but it did mess up traffic for a day. I even got an image on Thursday in the ice fog I need to process.

I've been seeing news cast on the ice in your parts, not a good deal for sure. Hope everyone comes through with minimal loss.
The details are nice in this shot Ed. Thanks for the view.

The two center most right trees seemed to have taken the brunt of this icy coating. You caught a lovely glow Ed. Too bad that the beauty of an icy coating on the landscape comes at such a high price some times. :frown:

Ed, I really like the placement of the trees and the glow in the evening sky. I saw a bit of this as I was flying in from Colorado last night. I was hoping someone got a shot of this. This will make a great pano print! Thanks for sharing.

Decade, hell...worst ice storm I've ever seen, and I've lived here almost fifty years. Nice color and pano composition Ed - glad you were able to get out! Did you lose your power?

Bill, Lost power for 4 days but am back and running now. Now if I can just get the ice off my driveway!
