I want to say this is underexposed of dull but I think it's just the colour of the background. I know how bright the emerald green of the eye stripe is in the sunlight but you can't have that all the time. The lack of saturation means my eyes are drawn to the duck's back and the speculum. Lovely and sharp though and I like the pose.

Hi Marek
Just needs a boost in gammma(exposure comp really ) The head espercially. The image as it is is just quite flat. Otherwise comp and position good.

Agree with John.As presented it looks like its a straight raw file ?, which needs all the processing done.
A tad on the large side for me, and rather flat. Personally I would have opted for a slightly higher viewpoint, in order to use the DOF to better advantage.
Still a very good capture, which just needs lifting.

Very nice sharp details in the bird & a nice pose too.
The Teal stands out well against the BG & as said above it will benifit from a lift.
