1904 Barn
This is a shot of a barn in our county that was moved here from StLouis in 1906. It was one of the barns built for the 1904 Worlds Fair. I have not reaserched it but they evidently sold and moved most of them from the site. It would have been an undertaking I'm sure. This barn has been repaired and resided and was last used as an auction barn.
Olympus E510 42mm 1/1600 f9 ISO 400 why I shot at 400 I have no idea but was just passing by that day and it was cold, just stopped grabbed the camera jumped out and shot. No crop just converted to BW because there was not much color there to start with.

I love old barns, this one looks exceptionally nice given its age and the fact that it has been moved!

Old barns are always good photo ops, Kendall...glad you stopped for this one.

Nice subject and comp. I'm wondering about a bit more contrast/tone selectively applied to the barn itself. I think that would help offset it from the bright snow/sky somewhat better.
