Wally, This series has been awesome! You've had some less than optimal lighting and BG's to work with and nailed the shots regardless!!

I agree, the quality of your captures has risen dramatically as your knowledge of the area and behavior of the birds has increased. A good study in the value of being persistent and really working a subject. Over time, the results pay off handsomely! Do you ever wish you had a video camera on hand to capture these battles in full motion? It is a good case for the new development in DSLR's of including HD video. Well done and thanks for sharing your winter passion with the forum! :smile:
