Waxwing
Waxwing- from the last invasion of Kidderminster !
They were in the rowans around sheltered accomodation and I sent the old people some pics as they had wondered what we were photographing. A carer tried to explain that these birds had come all the way from Scandinavia and one lady mis heard and said
" Its a long way to come to take pictures !!
Bless !

Thanks Dave. It was actually quite hard to get just one bird in the picture.

You should be so lucky John. Just one would be enough this year.
Nicely along the diagonal. Well done.

Very nice shot John :toast:

I assume this is with the love/hate 80-400 VR ? if so it worked fine this time.

Major I have offered to swop a few Waxwings for one of your Barn Owls

I never really got to grips with it. But maybe I didn't give the time it needed. I sold it to Kieth Mitchell in the end and he gave it away - so there you are !! I never really found the VR to work real well.
Cheers
