Thanks for looking.

I think you could try some CCW rotation here, just to see what happens. Otherwise a very good capture, well seen and taken.

Hmm, tasty!!

Nice shot Lee, I like the wave rolling in behind the gull, comp looks spot on, good capture.

How did the Oystercatchers turn out ??

Nice catch Lee. A lower viewpoint might have helped separate the bird from the background. I can sympathise though - I was on a beach yesterday and chickened out of lying on the mud. The inspiration to do it came from Lia, a regular poster of low viewpoint waders in the avian section - have a look here: http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=up&pi=LIA&ns=1&CGISESSID=7874ae1dfa560ac880d978c58c81fac2&u=20219

Thanks everyone
There are some great images from Lia & the low viewpoints do look better Ian but you could not have paid me to lay on that beach in North Yorkshire yesterday it was freezing cold very windy & very wet. The beach that Lia is laid on looks much more pleasant.   Thanks Ian I will try it (in the summer)
Hi Shep, The Oystercatchers look ok & I will post one this week
