Snow Bunting
The sun had just come over the horizon and was bathing this pool in beautiful light. This Snow bunting was feeding by the side of the pool and just stopped to get a drink. There was a slight breeze so the reflection was not a mirror but sometimes I prefer the difused reflections.

Canon 1Ds MK11, 500mm Lens, 1.4x Convertor, F5.6, 1/60, ISO 200

That's a pretty image Danny, really like the golden light and the difused relection.

Oh this is just sublime! The light of course is gorgeous, but the angle and the subject are both excellent. I agree about the diffuse reflection by the way.

Very nice Danny, the light and the reflection is spot on.

Thats nice Danny.... If I was to be super critical (got out of bed the wrong side this morning  ) I think I would prefer a bit more room below also a touch more DoF, I know you like your wide open shots and I am old fashioned...

Still a great looking image of a super bird in great light...

Very nice image matey - I might have preferred a tad more sharpness on the chest area, but overall comp and colour, PoV and light make this a class shot :toast:

Its a nice location Danny - I got some nice shots there last year and am going up for a full week next week. I really like how the sun is creating a glow on this bird. I think the diffused reflection works well.

Ooh, that's great, the sort of snow bunting image I aspire to. One of your very best in my opinion.
