Hi Luis,
I looked at your filckr site and you have nice images but everything on one site. If I can give any advice on photography for you to make money at is to specialize. Take what you like and work for markets in that. Not that you will end up doing that but that is the direction I would head. Be open I always loved working with and photographing snakes and I have worked with some reptile magazines a few years back but commercial paid the bills for me. If you don’t specialize appear to. At one time I was doing nature work and motorcycle road race work for national magazines at the same time. So edit edit and edit a submission to a target market then make your submission however you choose. You can make submissions to different market but don’t send people images to nature markets, keep your submissions focused. Hope this helps in some way

Luis,
What I mean by edit, edit and edit.
1. For a first time submission to an editor make a great first impression don't send anything second rate or that need an explanation.
2. Narrow that down to a few of your very best which should leave to anyone wanting to see more.
3. Edit down to images that show you know what type of images the editor uses. This shows you know about their market and have images that fit their needs.
