I just wanted to let everyone know I put this article up on my blog. I would love some critiques because I may try to submit something like it to a magazine one day. I am not a writer at all so any tips would be great, or just enjoy the info for any trips down south you may make.

Hi, Paul. The article is fine and the photos are beautiful.
One thing I'd suggest, especially with the goal you have in mind, is to add some tech info. For example, did you use a Grad or a Polarizer or both on some shots? Did you combine multiple exposures or use HDR? I'm not talking about a ton of added detail, but just touching on these areas will improve the marketability.
And a couple of real nits: down at the end, you want to capitalize Southwest and Northeast.

A very nice read, Paul. The images you used for illustration are exceptional.
I think it would make a very good magazine article, as is.

Excellent, Paul. Thanks for posting this so everyone could read it. You were a fantastic guide when we were visiting Florida - you definitely know your stuff. Great work!
Very good article Paul and the photos really make the story being told. One thing you may want to consider, for the article you submit to a magazine, is some directions/maps to show how to get "past the tourists stops". It wouldn't have to be super detailed, just enough to get readers exploring.

A very interesting read and some great pictures. I was in the Everglades last week and did a couple of the loops off of the 41, through Big Cyprus. It was my second (brief) visit to the Everglades and I loved it. Would like to spend a few days there...and also master the art of landscapes, if I could get anything even half as good as yours I'd be happy! Would love to know the details behind the shots.
