A few weeks ago I asked about how to upgrade photo shop and received many emails. First let me say thanks for all your help and I appreciate your advice so very much. We decided to upgrade to CS4 from elements and it only cost $299 from adobe. We received CS-4 and loaded it and we are very impressed with it and continue to learn. Saturday we were at office Max and to our surprise found that they carried the CS4 upgrade we just purchased. We were shocked because we felt that we did all we could to find it locally, even more shocking was they had it for $100 cheaper. I was not able to confirm it was the full blown version but it was in the same box I received and said CS4 so I assume it was a. I called adobe to see it they had a price challenge type of deal and did not. Anyhow I just wanted everyone to know they can save themselves a $100 at Office Max. Thanks again for all the help.

Tony - The only thing I can think is that perhaps that the upgrade from full CS3 to full CS4. Meaning it wouldn't work if you only had Elements installed. $199 is the Adobe website price for that upgrade (and they list $599 for the Elements upgrade, if you don't go through that other link we both used). They are different products online, so maybe different in stores as well. If that's not the case, it's a fantastic deal from Office Max...

That CS4 upgrade you saw allows one to upgrade from a previous version of Photoshop, not PS Elements!
You still went the cheapest route and saved a bunch of money in the process.

Thanks guys for the input, I really appreciate it. I did not consider what Colorado mentioned, that makes me feel a little easier.

Thanks again

"Colorado"? That's funny. Maybe you should change your signature block John...

"Colorado Plateau", sort of like Indiana Jones, eh?

Call me Ohio, Ohio River Valley.

Pete D. is amused by the simplest things.
