The "Eagle" Eye
I was going down the Snowbank Road to Snowbank Lake, and as I came around one of the tight corners there was an eagle on the road with a goose that it had captured. Of course I didn't see it until I was almost on top of it and chased it from it's prize. He circled a number of times and you could definitely see that he was not happy with me!

Yes, nice shot and looks like he has you on his list.

Great pose and capture. I love the "Dracula's cape" appearance here.

I'd suggest a dark border for Web display, just give the eye a sense of where the image's edge lies but that's merely cosmetic.

Fantastic catch, Ken...this image really shows off the size of the Eagle's wings!

Ken, the pose on this bird is great - not one usually posted on NPN anyway! I like Kerry's suggestions about adding the border. I might myself try and tone down the brightness of the BG which might bring out shadow detail in the outstretched wing. Well done!

There is something very haunting about this capture (in a good way - a very good way). The wings remind me more of a magician in the act of performing some sleight of hand. And the eyes are incredible. The white BG is almost an asset here, because of the stark, dramatic pose and expression. Amazing capture. :toast:
