Tuesday afternoon as heavy rains were still coming down during the ice storm this view was completely fogged in. I made it back Thursday morning well before dawn, and in fact had time to doze awhile before getting out of the car to start shooting because I had given myself so much extra time in case the roads were icey, but the highways were all fairly clear by then.

Randy, there is a sureal look to the landscape, especially with the pre-dawn glow. Thanks for sharing.

I was just preparing to type my response and noticed that Tom used the same word that came to mind for me, sureal. The landscape looks quite different covered in ice and in this pre-dawn light.

Yep - they said what I was thinking.

It might be hard to guess what is going on in the landscape if we didn't know. It is certainly surreal. Great work.

Looks cold and surreal, like another planet.

Alien landscape for sure, and the pre-dawn light gives this an even more surrealistic mood. Love it...
