Well, I like the story line in the image about clay. The cracks in the soil make a nice design. In contrast to the curvy lines in the soil, it might be interesing to put a very crisply rectangular brick in there. Lighting looks a little flat and comp looks static. Go for it again, Cliff!

I like this shot - cool contrast from similar families.....

I like the brick used here quite a bit, and the composition too. I agree that the lighting is a bit flat and it would be nce to have just a tad more detail in the finer areas of the mud. Perhaps washing the scene with a diffused flash would give it just enough depth.

Well my thought was... 'adobe' ps2-5 or whatever they have now, clay, a work in progress. The brick is centered, center of attention, static, broken, ready to be molded...etc. Now NPN, critique of picture, like adobe. I thought it Kinna works both ways. A fun day at the ocean and thinking waaayyy too much when i found this brick washed up on washaway beach after a big storm. The ocean is slowly taking the land back here as it is even taking houses down just a little north of this place. A small town already gone with remnants as this still washing up after storms. Old dump just south a short hike down the road will give up old bottles now and then also. The tree i take at sunset so much has been now broken off at the top from high winds a few days ago. Ever changing. :) thanks for the feedback.

I'm sorta back and forth on this one, Cliff. It's odd so I like it but I wish the was some secondary 'gotcha' kinda thing going on. You know, the brick cleverly outlined buy the cracks, some art with the cracks and the brick. I would have moved that thing all over the place, working the comp.
