Hi guys,

I would like to know how you prepare your images when put on the net ...
Once you arrive at house with a card full of new images, and
after selection of the best images how do you process them? Treat the picture on your
original size (clear, contrast, dodge, burn) and then resize to the net? Or,
furthermore, resize the photo to net and then do your editing (clear, contrast, dodge, burn), as
it's easier to edit a picture in small size?

Please let me know what's your method :toast:

No, always do all the processing first (except sharpening for print and web) then resize, and sharpen for web.

I agree with Stan,
This will allow you to use the image for printing or whatever without having to rework it only size and sharpen for output.

Hello,

My most recent essay has a detailed description of my workflow. I present it in the context of a specific type of images -- landscape blurs-- but it can be used for other types of images as well.

The essay is at this link:

And yes, you definitely want to do all your processing then size the image and finally sharpen it as Stan and James pointed out.

You're right guys, when we process images at original size we can use it in the future because we do it on original file, however sometimes it's much easier work a small version, adjustments are more simple and fast to do, but that's the way it is...
I agree with you and working on original file it's the best way of any workflow...just to know you're opinion :toast:
