Kittiwake
Kittiwake, photographed on the east coast last year, the Kittiwake is one of my target species for this year, I'm after a mid air squabble shot with Kitti's screaming at each other :argue:

How does this look on the processing and comp side of things, I'm not sure if this crop works ?? and with the face being in shadow have I pushed the levels a bit too far ?? your thoughts are appreciated.

All comments most welcome

And thankyou for all the very nice comments on my Fulmar shot, their always appreciated.

Hi Andy,

I would think the levels are are as far as I would go, as for the crop it would be nice to have a little extra space on the left and perhaps a very little bit more to the bottom? that's how I'm seeing it anyway, usually a personal thing others could say different.

As for the detail and overall image, it seems pretty good and a strong profile image of the bird, well done !

Looks fine to me nice details & sharp. Nicely captured with its beak open & the comp suits the angle of the bird perfectly for me.

Is the shot cropped from landscape? perhaps a landscape view would give the bird more space to fly into.
Exposure looks fine on my monitor.

Nice clean and simple, an excellent capture, for me, it just needs some more space around it, easily fixed.

I think it's a great pose and I don't mind the tight crop for some reason. The whites could be a bit brighter maybe on my monitor.
