Winter red squirrel
Had a very quick session in my hide today - frustratingly, it was quick as I had to leave in perfect winter conditions with 4 squirrels in attendance! I do hate that.

Anyway, here's one of a few half-decent poses pulled.

Canon 1dIIs, 300mm 2.8 ISO400

Magnificent shot, the poor thing looks frozen, but great work for a brief session.

Looks a little flat on my screen-always nice to see a red in snow

Becoming scarcer by the minute. A really lovely winter scene, but as dave says the image is looking a little flat.

Nits aside, even with time constraints still an excellent capture. Nice one.

This looks a real cracker - I hope you will repost it when you've boosted it or whatever, because I suspect it will be something special.

looks like a nice shot in there, but it lacks contrast as already mentioned.

Lovely setting with the falling snow. I'd also like to see a boosted version again

Agree with the nits mentioned and I'm not sure about the OOF snow in the foreground i.e. the bit that is almost translucent.. But it has the makings of something really nice and you handled it extremely well in the circumstances..
