An appropriate title for the subject matter, but also for the recent discovery of this image in my archives. It's from 2005 ... a spontaneous image made while driving up Mosquito Pass. I was driving in near zero visibility until this moment - when the scenery and morning light appeared suddenly out of the fog. Canon 20D + 17-40mm.
Another candidate for a series of toned "earth and sky" images I'm working on. Thanks for looking!
Toned and another left-hand tilt. I like this a lot. The trees and bushes create a great frame. The fog and clouds create a sense of mystery. Another winner!

Yeah, the dominant trees on the right make the whole thing look like it leans, but then you look at the other trees and realize it's just converging lines from a WA lens! Who cares?! It's an awe-inspiring shot.
I love your split toning work. This is another fantastic image. I don't mind the tilt in this one or your bridge image, as I think it helps give it that ethereal, dream-like quality. Top notch stuff Mr Speer.
These images really got me inspired to try this with a few of my own images. I've gotten some decent results, but I think I like how your images are just a little more subdued in terms of the toning saturation...
