Cottonwood Sunrise
We just returned from a two week trip to the Phoenix and then Rancho Mirage area. This was shot early in the morning from the town of Jerome and looking down at the town of Cottonwood. It was cold (not as cold as Ark) and the rays of light seemed to just illuminate the town with a hot air balloon in the lower center.

Thanks for looking

What a gorgeous sunset. The sunburst is spectacular. I'd love to see it larger so the balloon would be more identifiable. Great work.

Thanks Dominic. I have a couple of shots with the balloon larger - but they lose the effect of the sunburst by losing the darker sides. They just look like a shot of the sun shining down on a small desert town.

Incredible sky Merle! The pano presentation was a good choice here too. Beautiful scene.

With that lighting, it looks like the town in on a stage in a rather large theater! Some impressive clouds and light in this pano Merle. Thanks for sharing.
