This is from the last bit of snow I was in. Couldn't get the colours how I wanted so decided that B+W was the way to go. Taken put of a car window near the most remote pub in the UK. I was that cold that I would have had a hot chocolate if I could have got someone to open the door. I've been taking wildlife pictures for as long as I can remember though this B+W stuff is a new thing.

If this is the quality of image that you produce when you first start something, then I can’t wait to see what you have taken up until now.

B & W for me has to strong in content and thus interest, and for me this has is in quantity. A truly excellent shot, no crit’s.

I’m sure that hot chocolate, tasted all the sweeter, after you saw that you had this in the bin.

Welcome! :wavey:

Nice first post! Black and white suits it well, although it is a tiny bit contrasty for my tastes.

Look forward to seeing more!

Welcome Andrew.

I'd prefer to see this with a much harder B&W conversion, it looks a bit grey. Having said that, you may need to watch that the bottom of the image doesn't block up if you go for a harder conversion.
