Red Grouse
Red Grouse, photographed back in 2007, he was a real feisty character that had a great dislike for anything coloured red, probably a territorial response, he most likely had wattle issues  two distracting twigs on the bottom lefthand side cloned, thanks for looking.

Taken with a 350D and a friends 28-135mm hand held
1/200th @ F5.6 -1/3rd iso400

Nice picture, Andy, and the pink heather really sets the bird off well.

Love the colour in this Andy. As David says, the heather sets the grouse off a treat.

A cracking shot, it works really well. Tech’s etc. are all spot on. A really excellent shot.

From a personal point of view, I would like a bit across the top, but that’s just me. Did you flip it, just a thought.

Nice shot Andrew and good to see the feet showing. Maybe a good job you didn't flip it or the bird would be upside down.
Cheers

With a 28-135? So who was wearing the red jumper then ?

Not sure you've got the colour quite right on the heather.
