Hi guys,
Here is a shot from Pedernales Falls State Park. (The falls are a bit ways down from where I took the photo - will have to go back and spend some time there one of these weekends). This is at sunset last Saturday night. I loved the clouds, falling moon, and the stillness of the evening.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Rob
Seems like there are problems with this one showing up. Here is the pbase link:

Not sure why it isn't working

I think you've got a problem with the photo not showing up properly. I can't see it on this page until I manually paste in the url to the image and go to it directly. It may be a pbase problem.
Anyway, it's a fine shot, with interesting and nicely arranged rock formations, beautiful color, and the mirror-like pool. Beautiful work.

Just type url inside brackets [] in front of the link and type /url inside brackets [] after the link.
That is a dead calm evening for sure, there is nary a ripple in that water. This is an interesting location and you had some fine clouds adding to the scene.
It looks like you used a split ND grad on the sky. The trees at right are very dark and the water & reflection is lighter than the sky. A little dodging on the trees and a gradient mask on the still water could really make this one sing!
Rob, I like what I see, but would love to see it at 720px wide without the frame. There is a lot of detail to check out for such a small size. I do agree with Wayne that the trees could use some detail, and the reflection/sky intensity should be reversed. The bottom right FG rock is a nice detail that really enhances the depth of the scene. Nice post, and thanks for sharing it. It does seem peaceful.

Thanks for the suggestions!
I'll go back to the RAW for this shot. That's why I'm posting on here - to get some good feedback!
Thanks guys. Appreciate the input. This photo does have a lot of detail thanks to the 5Dii.
Yall have a good weekend, too!
