Blackbird whiteout
I've not been up to much recently, i've been having a bit of a break over christmas, busy processing/printing images... hopefully get out a little more soon.

I went to the local reserve and messed around with my groundpod with the birds underneath the feeders, a raised lump of snow helped provide a diffused foreground. got a bit cold though!

Great idea, not too sure if it really works for me. Can see it as a RSPB Xmas card tho’. Very imaginative and well taken.

I'd be tempted to give a little more room on the left and crop a little from the top. I think the gradient between the head and body would have been better if it had been a little more gradual and less straight eg, more like mist. You could also maybe boost the contrast in the head a little. All personal preference of course!

Well done for doing somthing different. I agree with Ian on the crop.

I like the monochromatic look here, the orange really stands out. I agree about the crop too.
