Anyone know if the sun sets behind the Olympics already? Trying to decide whether to go to Kerry Park or Discovery Park or maybe even Volunteer Park.

This time of year the sun is setting at about 246 degrees (true). If you have a compass you can just take a bearing on 246 and see where the sun will set.

So was I. I spoke to a couple of photographers, but didn't bother pulling out my gear. I had come from Edmonds and wish I had stayed put.
