Redwing
one from this morning, another first for me.
i wanted some C&C on the background, I know its nice to have good bokeh.
but i quite like this with the crocus in the back. the red is also very bright more so that some redwings i have seen.

Nice. I quite like the crocuses in this, something a bit different, and the redwing still stands out nicely. The light looks a little harsh unfortunately, but not too much you could have one about that! The red really does stand out and lovely pose too!

I think the background crocuses might be considered a minor distraction by some, but for me, they do convey spring is coming and with the Redwing, it shows the changing of the seasons.

A cracking capture, I bet you are really chuffed with this as I think everything is spot on. Excellent shot, no crit’s.

I do like the fact you have included the crocuses. I think a lower angle would have blurred the background ones a little more, which would have separated the bird a little more. Still a nice image though and better than any I have.

Yes dstill a few Redwings hanging about and your capture looks rather splendid with the crocuss. :toast:
Would have used a bit of Gausian Blur on the top BG.

Major.

Well done for getting close to the redwing, they usually run from me. I don't actually like the crocus as they look untidy and cut the beak. A lower angle would have been great with the crocus more oof, but the bird would probably have flown I know.
