Hi all,

Sorry I have not been around for a few weeks. Work/life balance totally the wrong way around.

The snow inspired me to brush the dust of the flash guns and have another go at some high speed flash photography over the last week or so. I always end up taking hundreds upon hundreds of images before I get one anything like correct. How people did this pre digital is beyond me...

Canon 1DMk3. 70-210mm lens, lots of flash guns and even more patience!

C&C welcome.

Cheers

Austin

An absolutely cracking shot, in a class of its own. Well worth all your patience, no crit’s here. Just admiration.

Excellent... just wonder if you could lose the second teasel head which is below the bird.... perhaps not, as it has more snow on it....

Hi Austin, am I the only one who thinks this looks a bit unreal / overflashed? Nice action though, I'm sure it wasn't easy. I've enjoyed playing snap with the snowflakes
