Went to Gigrin last week as falling snow was predicted during the day. As I got there a blizzard had set in but by the time the Kites were fed it had stopped but towards the end it started to snow again and I finally got the shots I had always wanted.

Fantastic! Great to see an original red kite shot.
Very very nice - lovely movement and super light - the detail you get in the plumage with the light reflected up from the snow is just sublime. Cracker!

I've been there a number of times but the light has always been difficult. Interesting that snow conditions have made it possible to really bring out the detail in the subject so well.
