There's Gold in Them Thar Hills
Golden Eagles that is! Had a great day with this one, got lots of shots, best day ever and I only went out to think about landscapes!

More pics here if you want to see.

Fantastic set Bill! I think this one is my favorite. You have a way with birds.

To paraphrase something I once heard Dewitt Jones say at a seminar I attended:
"If you go out to shoot landscapes one day and Mother Nature's doing golden eagles that day, then you'd better do golden eagles!" Nice job, Bill!

Wonderful set, Bill. I think this and #18 are my favorites.
I guess those landscapes will just have to wait.

Great action to this shot. Looks like the entire haul was worthwhile. Thanks!

This is a great image. I would crop more on the bottom to take away some of the dead space.....overall, very nice.

Nice, Bill ! You had a very cooperative golden there. Is that a Kestrel in the background of #2?

Yes Don, the resident Kestrel didn't take a shine to the eagle, go figure. Thanks for the feedback all.

Neat, Bill--it looks like its suspended by wires or something. I have this urge to invert the colors

Angelic isn't it, although its alarming that you thought that Stan!
