So i was out by GOG last night in the mist and diddnt get much.. Untill I was coming home and decided to play around a bit with some street lights in the fog.. For my troubles of the evening this was the best shot of the night. No landscape... no nature...
But i thought id share none-the less.
At GOG and 30th

Whoa! I could envision many commercial/stock uses for this. Nice job!

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't mind seeing MORE OT submissions here. We're in the midst of such a talented group of photographers, I'm sure there's much more than landscapes to share. I know I go to the gallery pages at photo.net and just browse in an uncategorized way to see the depth of talent and brilliant ideas others come up with.

This shot is just fantastic! Is this a grab shot of some unknown stranger, or did you (or someone with you) pose for this? It's a great idea, and the b&w treatment looks to me like the only way to go.

Per what John said, this has movie poster written all over it!

Nate, this is great, highly noir, and could be a period piece...

Todd you're right, even though this is the Nature Photographer's Network, I agree 100% When I'm not out shooting nature photos, I resort myself to get creative in other ways, especially at night around the city. Since there are only 12 images posted in the Off-Topic gallery, it's not very popular here, but should get some more attention.

Very striking. Thanks for posting. I agree with Todd about sharing more than just landscapes/nature!

I agree. This is a great execution.

And I also agree that the NPN off-topic should get more attention, but that's a subject for another day.

I'm scared to go to bed now, thanks a lot. I dig it - feel free to experiment on us anytime.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!!
I really appreiciate all the positive feedback..
Todd it was a little bit of both.. It was me and a buddy of mine and as he was walking across the street i grabbed a snapshot of him.. Had him stop for a second and grabbed another.. This was the photo where he stopped as asked.

Haha dave i know what you mean... I love how its difficult to tell wich way he is facing... Lets the observer interpret as they wish IMO...
