Waxwings
Got some of these in the village at last this week but not gone through them all yet. Still processing robin xmas cards etc and all the other snow stuff.
This is one from the last invasion.

That’s very nice John, the angle of the branch and the lower left bird almost asking, “what is it, I can’t see from here “ make the picture for me.

Thanks all.
Thats one thing about these birds. They feed like mad for ten minutes then usully have a rest. Interestingly, when we did these there were 4 other photorgraphers there !! How many do you reckon there would be if they turned up tomoroww !!
More like 40 !

Lovely shot, really nice poses. I like how they're so evenly spaced!

Beautiful birds, hope I get to see one one day!

You have fantastic pulling power the birds pose so well for you. A great shot.

Now you're showing off!! Absolutely wonderful! On thinking about it, it might be even stronger graphically if the single bird wasn't there, leaving one diagonal.

That is a wonderful composition, John. How did you get thyem to pose like that?

Thanks all
No big deal when theres only one small Ash tree with a few uprights for them to perch in whilst they await their turn to come in to feed. And you don;t see the chuck outs.
Snow would have been nice !!

This one made me grin  Something special with them all lined up and its almost as if the one at the bottom is wondering if the rest are real! Another great shot
