Cripple Creek Ice Festival
Went there Saturday, wasn't easy to get a clean shot due to things like scaffolding and people. So I got low and shot up or did close-ups. Nighttime helps to obscure some background items.

Don,

I was thinking about that festival myself. It looks like a pretty cool event. I really like the way the light is coming through the dragon in #2.

The torso portion of the last photo looks like a painting. Very cool series, Don. I remember trying to photograph these with my cell phone one year.

Very neat. Nice workmanship in those sculptures, too.

John

Stan, you can still make it, this runs through next Sat/Sun. There may be different sculptures added to the mix by then.

Thanks for sharing these, Don.
Someday I hope to see some ice sculptures.
