Swan's eye view
1D2n, 600mm f4 is, 1/1000s, f4, iso 400

I know this won't appeal to everyone, but the more I look at it, the more I like it - I really must stop doing that. It's a bit different - what do you think?

Well this is certainly different, and it works superbly.

In a class of its own. Nice one.

Hi Ian,

Very nice and a fresh idea on a common species. Slight shame the leg?? is coming out of the top of the head, just interferes with the line in the water and the super smooth BG.

Regards

Rob

Its the still water and low angle that make it. What disturbs me is that eflection seems o have missed the eye somehow? Nice one.

Something different and very nice Ian. Fab detail and love the really bold orange

I've got to be honest, whilst I think it's an unusual capture of a typical bit of behaviour (which does make it more interesting) the shot overall just doesn't quite work for me. I can't quite put my finger on what it is but unlike your other low level stuff my first reaction when opening it wasn't 'wow'. Sorry to be the partypooper :frown:
