Vermillion Cliffs
These cliffs are outside Cottonwood, AZ and were shot from the townsite of Jerome 1-24-09 at 1714 hrs. The clouds were shifting constantly and with the distance across the valley it was hard to guage what to shoot. This has crop to pano and minor adjustments in LR.

50D 1/500 @ f11, ISO 400, 70-200 @ 115

I like how the shadow/light combination created their own set of "mountains" in this scene. And some nice color to boot on the distant range. Thanks for sharing Merle.
