Nice, very nice, different to the norm. and all the better for it. An excellent shot, particularly the composition, the rest aren’t bad either.

First class job/shot, well done and taken.

Top class image Sam. Perhaps a touch more contrast but the composition and the capture of the activity is great.

Nice shot, looks like it was windy? I think there's far too much magenta in the pic - maybe try adding some green (15%) to the midtones and highlights, some blue in the shadows, and about 10% contrast, as Phil suggests?

I love this , it looks like a Ron Digby water colour , that a complement they cost a few grand each. I know what other are saying about contrast and colour but just once in a while I think we should admire and take it for what it is , a very nice picture not just a photograph of a bird. Bob.

Too right I like that. Superb shot; most definitely not any old bird on a stick this one.

First class image Sam - I'm green with envy :toast: :toast:

I'd agree with Phil and David over the adjustments but the image image is so good it deserves one giant "thumbs up" - top notch!

Great pose. Just come out of hide doing buzzard at bait but not a patch on this one! Mark

Nice work, a tad more contrast and it will stand out among the crowd. Super work.

Super buzzard Sam, like the way the wing mirrors the perch
Just had a couple of days away in Northumberland and out for a walk in the snow there were a pair of these around and their calls literally the only sound we could hear - magical!

Lovely shot! :toast:

Would really like to read your blog article as well, is there a way of viewing it in English?
