Taking a stroll......
Friday was my first day off work in 10 days so I decided to get up real early to take a morning stroll in the high country. These shots are taken from UN 13,152ft off Loveland Pass. When I started hiking off the pass it was crystal clear but an hour later once I had arrived at my destination the weather had changed dramatically. Here are some quick edits from that morning.

These are great shots. I like #1, 2 and 4 the best.

I have been thinking of heading up that way to get some mountain peek scenics. Can you provide where you parked and then where you hiked to? Did you need snow shoes? What time of day did you get up there and how far is the hike to this location? I have not been on Loveland Pass but driven by it a bunch of times. Do you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle or will a car be sufficient?

Thanks,

Tim

Jody, I'd say your morning "stroll" really paid off. All are really fantastic! I especially love the soft pastel look of #3.

Nice stuff Jody. I went up the next morning and I think I went the other direction to pt 12585, though I haven't posted them here.

I like #1, #5 and #6 from the series.

#1 and #2 are my favorites, but they are all great images. Are you shooting digital now? I may have missed that transition.

Wow, what a collection! they all rock but 2,4,5 are my faves--fantastic shots! Dont know if youre doing anything differently but i dont see any of the color issues here that i saw in previous posts, the pp here looks absolutely perfect--so keep it up!
