I've recently been playing with some simple manipulations to a ice covered branch photo and creating artistic images. I've put up a gallery at http://gallery.heartland-images.com/TwistedIce . All of the images started with the same image, with selective cropping, mirage image, and polar coordinate alterations. This image is one of the more complex images. I'm curious if you prefer the simpler or more complex images. I know which way I'm leaning. I'm not sure how to title these images, either. Thanks for looking and leaving your opinion.

Rob, the one you posted here is just stunning and the best of the bunch IMO. I like the simpler, less complex ones on your web site. No. 3 and 10A are also great. I'm very impressed with your creativity in making these images.

This is quite impressive Rob. I am pretty sure I don't have the patience or skills to create this type of art. Well done!
