That time of the year and I'm really enjoying it. The cold weather has presented great opportunities to see these wonderful birds.

ISO 4000???? Does this mean I've got to move to Canon now Paul
I'm getting very envious of these Barny action shots and this is no exception

Sorry Andy. That should read ISO 400.
Change to Canon. You're doing OK with second best!

Hi Paul,
Nice shot. I'm seeing my Owls on a daily basis sitting on posts I have always wanted to get them on, sadly this is when I am going to or coming home from work, to say I am pulling my hair out would be an understatement, just no time to do anything at the moment
Regards

Good stuff !
Have to say though the term "barnie " makes me cringe a bit.
If we see one around here we go "yippee " and stick it on the net !!

Very nice, detailed shot. I would love to get something like this, in fact I would love to even see some of these birds! Personally I think I would consider flipping this image to see how it would look going right to left (can't really explain why, just one of those 'feeling' type thoughts!!).

I'm also envious of these barn owl shots. This is very nice and shows good detail. A slight shame about the ring on its leg...

A cracking shot, my only though is that I would have liked a bit more space around it. Well seen and captured.
Well done matey!
